Terms of use
The rules for using this website. Effective October 19, 2026.
These terms apply to the website at asmh.online, run by Associates in Mental Health (“AMH”, “we”). By using the site you agree to them.
Not for emergencies
This website is not monitored around the clock and must not be used in an emergency. If you or someone else is in danger, call 911. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988. You can also reach:

Information, not treatment
The content on this site is general information about our practice and therapists. It is not medical or mental health advice. Using the site, sending a request or booking a time does not by itself start a therapist–client relationship. That begins only when a therapist agrees to work with you.
Appointment requests and booking
An online request or booking is a request until our office or your therapist confirms it. Times shown online can change. Please give accurate contact details, and don’t include health information in the form.
Telehealth
Video sessions are for clients of AMH therapists and need the PIN your therapist gave you. Please keep your PIN private, join from a private place, and use your real name so your therapist can recognise you in the waiting room. Sessions run on Microsoft services. Your therapist may ask you to confirm your identity or location at the start. Don’t record a session without your therapist’s agreement.
Accounts
Portal and administration accounts are for AMH therapists and staff only. Keep your sign-in details secret, don’t share your account, and tell our office straight away if you think someone else has used it. We may suspend or remove an account to protect the practice or its clients. If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, their own terms also apply to that sign-in.
Acceptable use
Please don’t misuse the site. That includes trying to get into accounts or areas that aren’t yours, guessing PINs or passwords, interfering with how the site works, sending spam or automated requests, or uploading anything harmful or unlawful.
Content
The text, photos and design of this site belong to AMH or to the therapists who provided them, and may not be copied for commercial use without permission. Therapists are responsible for keeping their own profile information accurate.
Other websites and services
Some links and features use other providers, such as our client portal, Microsoft, Google, and crisis and insurance resources. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and their own terms apply.
No guarantees
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and may sometimes be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, AMH is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be limited.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how the website handles your information. Your therapist’s Notice of Privacy Practices covers your health information.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. We may update them from time to time. The effective date above shows when they last changed.
